About the Project
My school's alumni community has been quietly supporting underprivileged children's education for years, but they lacked a proper platform to coordinate their efforts. When I learned about their mission and saw how they were managing everything through WhatsApp groups and scattered documents, I knew I could help. I offered to build them a comprehensive alumni portal completely free of charge. The platform now serves as the central hub for the FODA alumni community, helping them coordinate scholarship programs, track student progress, and maintain connections with both current students and alumni. It's been incredibly rewarding to see how technology can amplify the impact of a caring community. The portal has helped streamline their operations, making it easier to support more children and maintain better records of their educational journey. This project taught me that sometimes the most meaningful work comes from serving your community, not just building for profit.
